Two Little Bees

Here are a few pictures of Laurelai and Maggie in their bee costumes. Laurelai has been talking for months about being a bee like in the movie Bee Movie. So, I made Laurelai a bee costume this year. As soon as I finished the tutu part she says, "Mommy, I don't want to be a bee this year, I want to be a super hero with a red cape." You can see from the pictures who won that discussion. I will be sure to post more Halloween pictures after trick or treating.

The Pumpkin Patch

Yesterday was a beautiful fall day so Daddy, Mommy, Mamaw and Laurelai packed up the car and headed to Burt's Pumpkin Patch in the north Georgia mountains. We had such a fun day together. Laurelai loved wondering through the rows and rows of pumpkins that were bigger than she is. Daddy and Laurelai went on an old fashioned hay ride and had a good time learning about the pumpkin patch. We ended our trip with a stop for a late lunch at the Smith house....yummy.
